Our bodies were designed using nerve, lymph, blood and meridian pathways for energy to flow through. There are energy centers dedicated to transmit and receive messages throughout the body. They are known as Chakras centers. There are seven of them and they are located on the spinal column and head. The word Chakra is an old Sanskrit term for “wheel”.
Root Chakra ( Muladhara) The first energy center at the base of the spine associated with grounding to the earth and the physical world. Linked to fear , survival, primal instincts and money.
Sacral Chakra ( Swadhisthana) “ The place of the self” creative life force, motivational, abundance, sex and pleasure. Imbalance leads to depression, low sex drive, lack of passion.
Solar Plexus Chakra ( Manipura) Respective organs are the stomach, intestines, gallbladder, liver and spleen. It represents our personal power, intense emotions like joy, laughter and anger, ego and strength.
Heart Chakra (Anahata) Associated with heart, lungs and immunity system. Imbalances can lead to colds, flu, infections, poor circulation, high blood pressure, respiratory and breathing difficulties.
Throat Chakra (Vishuddha) Associated with thyroid gland , sense of security, leadership, communication. Imbalance leads to anxiousness and insecurity .
Third-Eye Chakra ( Ajna) Intuition, psychic energy and spiritual energy. Imbalances leads to headaches, allergies and sinus problems.
Crown Chakra (Sahasrara) pure consciousness energy and spiritual center.
When any of these areas are not balanced we can feel the effects in a multitude of ways. Depending on where the disturbance is located. The usual signs are feeling stuck in life or sluggish, inflexible, stressed and feeling not good enough, unsettled and chaotic home life. Pain and stiffness in your legs and feet can also be an indicator.
Did you ever consider adding LENS neurofeedback to your more popular arsenal of treatments like meditation, healing oils, crystals and stones ? … it works.
NeuroBalance is an energy healing therapy that stimulates frequency patterns throughout the body and head. Utilizing at times the same meridians that acupuncturists use. Its dynamic signal is so versatile that it effects brainwave states and primary energy centers like chakras by tapping into the central nervous system. Many of our clients have been meditating for years and all describe the effects of a typical session as compared to an hour of deep meditation. The technology is centered on resetting frequency wave pattern characteristics wherever they reside throughout the head and central nervous system. The process involves a thorough mapping of the brain and spine.
If you are still feeling anxious, depressed and not yourself, maybe chakra balancing could work for you.
